As part of the Manchester Weekender we decided at the Whitworth that we would mix the create your own cartoon characters with attempting to create the biggest comic strip ever! Not sure that we broke the world record but it did measure in over 25 feet long and 2 feet wide...So here is the combined efforts of all the children, parents, grandparents, uncles, aunties, brothers, sisters & best friends that turned up to tell the tale (or variations of) of a red elephant named 'Columbus' who lived on top of a hill and decided he would go on a 'journey of discovery'...Good job everyone!
